In response to the persistent environmental degradation and the escalating cost of transportation in Nigeria and Africa, exacerbated by volatile fuel prices, Yourrider Energies has transformed its approach to address these issues. We prioritize environmental sustainability in our transportation and logistics operations by adopting Electric Vehicles (EVs). This shift not only mitigates our ecological footprint but also reduces transportation costs through the efficient use of EVs.

Start from

2020

In 2020, the vision was born, and we commenced our first operations in Abuja. Our logistics hailing app offers easy last-mile logistics within the city at safe, secure, and affordable rates.

May

2021

In 2021, remaining focused on our vision and prioritizing customer needs, Yourrider expanded to first-mile deliveries. We also partnered with e-commerce platforms like Jumia and Konga, as well as government organizations like the Abuja Enterprise Agency, among others.

June

2022

The vision expanded to more cities, including Lagos, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano, and five others. We introduced advanced techniques for first-mile services, such as real-time tracking and surveillance. Additionally, we partnered with several airlines to offer same-day air deliveries across the country.

October

2023

Yourrider Energies embarked on a scaling journey, expanding its presence into additional cities and African countries. We commenced our expansion with Ghana and simultaneously invested in developing warehousing infrastructure across Nigeria. This strategic move aims to optimize our logistics operations and reduce the costs associated with last-mile delivery.

August

2024

Yourrider Energies responded to the rising cost of fuel and increasing carbon emissions by strategically pivoting into clean energy solutions for the transportation sector. We began this transition by deploying two electric energy stations in Lagos, with a focus on making affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy accessible to riders and fleet operators while reducing operating costs and environmental impact.

2025

Yourrider Eenrgies significantly scaled its clean energy operations, expanding to 10+ energy stations across the country. We served over 700 electric vehicles, completed 20,000+ battery swaps, and helped save over 20,000 tonnes of carbon emissions. During this period, we also secured strategic partnerships with EV fleets and other notable brands, strengthening our position within Nigeria’s growing electric mobility ecosystem.
